I have all shapes and sizes
in this type of tree defect.

My wood creations are usually big sellers and did not fail me at this
past show near Catskill,NY.
The Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival

This was one of the first arts and crafts creations
ever made at Catskill Timber & Stone Works.
It was defanatly my  first wood creation to sell.
Can saw this one out of softwood or hardwood

Picture doesn't do much justice to this desktop creation.
This is a knot or a side cut off the outside edge of a tree.It was a branch in it's healthier days. The plants are air plants(Bromeliades),also there
is a pond scene inside this Arts & Crafts creation. This is another item with endless ways to arrange a scene or scenery.

DSC00324.JPG

This hand is fully detailed.
I have video of many, many people
trying this one out at a show.
This is a Red Oak piece.

Wood creations in the raw. These are some of my knots or side cuts.
I build miniature pond scene's inside these knot holes
and burls, with a resin that pours, hardens and
stays crystal clear. The resin is poured in
1/2"increments over top of your pre-designed
pond bottom to the preferred depth.

This knot is a wall hanging type with a bird.
It's an old piece of Red Oak.
This arts and crafts creation wall hanger is natural color

DSC00330.JPG

This planter has internal flower pots for plants like
this spider.

DSC00310.JPG

Another wall hanger with bird,
Also a piece of Red Oak.A bird
scene just happens to be how these
projects were set up.Imagination
does the talking in these arts and craft creations
at Catskill Timber & Stone Works.

Closer view ,look a little closer, down behind the plant and you can see the wet appearance.

Here's one with a Bromeliade. Most thrive well in proper
light situations. No soil needed for these plants.
